Received a call from them, CPC telling me that I owed $6,000.00. I put it on a credit card with a high interest rate which has caused me to have financial hardship

So someone just calls you out of the blue and says you owe $6,000. Then without even questioning it you hand over your Credit Card number and give them the $6,000. Either there is a lot more to this that you are not telling us and/or you are one of the most gullable people in the world.
