Sorry Richard for your disappointment. You could have avoid this by asking around... You could get the info that now Steve gave you about LV perfomrances. Las Vegas IS about wasting lot of money. In Las Vegas EVERYTHING is overproduced and surreal (and full of stupid dancers). I mean have not you had a walk at least in Ceaser Palace before/after the concert? Las Vegas IS land of "O". If you want REAL art, performance, concert, etc. stay away from Vegas. My real disappointment is in Celene Deon herself. How the hell she could sell her soul to Vegas??? There is no way any singer/actor/dancer could give high or even medium level performance day by day for weeks, months. To Steve: VIVA LAS VEGAS!!! I agree, it is about matching expectations:-)

Although I am not a fan of Celine Dion, I do know that many of the performers in Las Vegas are severely overworked. You complain that the show was less than 90 minutes (the majority of shows in Las Vegas are 90 minutes or less). Keep in mind that performances are nightly, sometimes more than once a day. I don't know how long you would be able to last with that type of performance schedule, but give the singer a break, it's not like she has an understudy who can go on for her when she's not feeling well. As far as the content of the show, I'm sure she has many hits, not all of which can be possibly covered in a 90 minute show. Your favorites may be different than hers or other fans. Lastly, it's not a concert that you went to see, it's a production show. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the format of the show, but you got what you wanted, to see Caline Dion perform live. I just don't understand how you feel you were ripped off.
