CFM Specialty Home Products Majestic Fireplaces by Vermont Castings Majestic Fireplaces are a piece of Junk. Mississauga, Ontario
I ordered a 52" woodburning Majestic Fireplace from a local dealer which is since out of business in 2005 for a home under construction. The fireplace was installed in 2006 and first used in 2007. In 2009 the grate burned through and the interior panels in the back and on the floor cracked and broke up. The company would not warranty with no reason given. I had to pay an additional $630. to have them replaced. Also, the screws continually fall out that hold the screen in place. This product is a piece of junk but it is built into the house and faced with rock so I am stuck. Please advise any future buyers to stay away from this product.
