Champion Windows And Patio Rooms Huge Ripoff, from warranty to installation to there apathetic Divison President Jay Hyman Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
I purchased 10 windows from Champion, my sales rep was theonly good thing about the whole process. The windows were said to have alife time warranty and that they were "custom made". The life time warranty is only on the sash and frame not the glass. And the $35.00 trip charge to serive their own product ws more like $100.00 and it took forever to have the work done.
I called and spoke to the "President" who was the rudest man I have ever spoken to, he was qucik, rude in his tone, did not answer any of my concerns and tried to blame the installers (his employees) for the mess. He made this the worst expeiernce of my life, I have never been treated so poorly.
The windows seemed ok, HIGH priced but ok, They do not make them, they assemble them, they get the parts from everywhere else and they tell you it is there people who install the product, its general contracters, the windows are not the same glass pack i was shown in my demonstration, they leak, they are cold, and the installation was done do poorly and they left myhouse a wrek....buy your windows anywhere but here.
Again the worst part was how rudely i was treated by there so called President, who had the manners of a jacka**.
