We hired this person who presented himself as licensed to renovate our kitchen. We even thought we had vetted him well enough because he somehow was able to do repairs in a relative's home which involved her insurance company.
A contract was drawn and signed for contractor to remove wall between kitchen and dining room, remove old cabinets, then repair walls and floors underneath cabinets prior to installing new cabinets. A considerable deposit was paid up front (because contractor was ordering new kitchen cabinets).
This is absolutely the most despicable job I have ever seen anyone call themselves doing. My husband and I (who are seniors) were very clear about what we wanted and expected of him. He ordered wrong size cabinets, right sides for left sides, etc.; never finished the walls where wall or cabinets were removed from, or holes in floor beneath old cabinets.
Because we had to work, we left a key with him for flexibility of time. Things got worse. We come home from work and find that this man had the nerve to begin installing new cabinets on unfinished walls and floors, and on walls that had electrical wiring exposed. Needless to say, we demanded he take them down and start from square one. What a nightmare.
He cut a huge hole in the back and bottom of the sink cabinet, threw debris in our back yard, (which is still there) instead of ordering dumpster, the list is endless. He never showed up when he was supposed to, and when he did all he did was wreak havoc with the exception of the first few times.
Inbetween all this craziness, he was constantly asking for advances for this or that or the other, until my husband and I got fed up and ordered him and his trailer he had parked in our driveway off our property. The trailer was supposed to be used to haul the debris away, but it actually just housed his tools.
All in all, this man defrauded us out of a little over $8,000.00 before we had to hire someone else to clean up his mess. Please, no one ever hire this thief to even take out your garbage. He'd probably screw that up too! I hope he gets arrested, and is never allowed to work in Connecticut again.

Mr and Mrs Anderson have tried to slander my good name and reputation Simply becaus they did not want to pay for the job they hired me to do. They took me to court and lost due to the lack of evidence and unfounded claim that I am a fraud. The judge found favor with my company due to the evidence I provided. I provided the Andersons with brand new custom cabinetry, a brand new dishwasher, sink, light fixtures, debres removal, paint and labor. I put in a month of work and finished the job per our contract when they decided they didn't want to pay me and wanted the money they had paid back. Mr and Mrs Anderson wanted a job done for free and tried to scam me out of money because they didn't want to pay. I am a family man and I take pride in my reputation and business. I should have done my homework before signing a contract with such dishonest people.
