Yes you can have a satellite dish in an apartment complex. All you need to do is to get a bucket, a bag of cement and a pole. You put the cement in the bucket and stick the pole in there and the installer will then install your dish on the pole and you should be able to get satellite service. We lived in apartments for many years and this is how we had our satellite dish hooked up. Legally, the apartment management cannot prevent you from using satellite tv service. Good luck to you.
