I feel sorry for you but at the same time I see that you omit many crucial facts of what happened along the line.
When you said you overdrawn for $90, when did that happen? Also, how it went from $90 to $1,535.98? How long was it? What did you do along the way to solve the problem? The rest of the story is in your 4/5 of the whole report, so I don't need to know in order to fill in the picture...
Oh, I think you mistyped $1,535.98 as $6,535.98...

There is a lot more to this story than you are posting, and I would bet that the parts you are leaving out don't have you come off looking so good.
For them to put you into ChexSystems(what you are calling being blackballed) doesn't happen overnight. So unless there is some fraud going on, you were probably overdrawn for at least a couple of weeks, and probably longer before they did this.
The other thing that says there is probably more is that if you really had a "slam dunk" case that could bring huge media attention the lawyer would not have asked you for $1200 up front..they would probably have done it on a contingency basis.
