CheapTickets And Spirit Airlines CheapTickets cancelled reservations without any notification and Spirit Airlines Lie Chicago Illinois
I purchased my tickets fromLos Angeles to Detroit through CheapTickets and everything seemed fine.
A week before my trip i checked my itinerary and my flight had been confirmed.
so I printed it out. the night before my flight, I logged in to see if i could choose seats and my flight had been cancelled without any notification, and they said that Spirit airlines had never confirmed the flight. after calling Spirit airlines, they had no record of even receiving a request for a ticket under my name.
After looking at my bank statements, there was luckily no transaction, however having to "re-purchase" the tickets now (which is the same day as the flight) has doubled the cost.
another note is Spirit told me there were no seats left on that flight, 2nd call to them they reported the flight was cancelled because of plane problems...how would they know that 24 hours in advance? 3rd call they said it was cancelled due to weather...it's 65 and partly sunny in Detroit at this moment.
I ended up by tickets thru xxx...over double the cost.
Now this morning I just spoke to my brother in Law who called to make reservations with spirit for the same flight...and there are plenty of seats available...
CheapTickets and Spirit Airlines are in on some big BS scam.
