I made an order from Chickensaloon on Jun 22, 2015 01:39 PM MDT. $799.00 free shipping The Ranch Chicken coop/hutch. I did not get a tracking number with the order or a follow up email but the three boxes arrived July 2 or 3rd. On the 4th of July we opened the boxes and notice the craftmanshipp was horrible that the coop is not safe or will work for our chickens. As we layed out the itmes we noticed many cracks, holes, windows not closing doors not fully opening plus the size that was advertized was measured up the the extreme, adding a inch to 1/2 inche in come cases to the size. The windows as advertized the only thing that wasnt measured was smaller. I emailed and left a detail message intailing all the instalations issues. With no repliy I emailed them again on July 6th. No reply. Called July 7th with no reply left message. July 9th called left message. Saying I was going to report them. A few hours later I recived a phone call from this number 385-208-3146. (this number does not accept calls) I spoke with a female and would only identifly herself as a customer service of chicken saloon, when I asked her name. She apoligied and said they cant do anything unless they have pictures and after they talk with the maanger. She also stated that they never recived any emails from me as their webiste is messing up. That same day, July 9th, I sent the pictures. July 10th I recived a email stating they will look into it. Below will be the copy of the email converstation with dates and times.
Rachael,We are sorry for the trouble. Thanks for sending these pictures, and the green circles help even more. We will go through these pictures right away, and see what needs to be done to make sure your coop is made whole.ThanksOn Fri, Jul 10, 2015 at 8:43 AM, Rachael (((redacted))) wrote:Thank you for the next day response. I would appreciate a time frame, with a date if possible, of how long the review will be, including the choices I can choose from, for my purchase.
~Rachael MillerRachael,Just wanted to follow up. I was a little unsure of what you were referring to with "how long the review will be including choices...". What did you mean by that? Sorry for the misunderstanding.ThanksOn Jul 10, 2015, at 4:02 PM, Rachael (((redacted))) wrote:
I would like a time frame on when I will be hearing back and what the choices will be, so I can more forward getting the coop to the standards that I can get my chickens into their hutch. As of now and since the first email, July 4th I have been waiting and for a reply and solution. Again I'm just asking for a time frame, with a date, when I will receive that information, on your decision with my choices so we are both happy. If there any more questions please call me at (((redacted)))
~Rachael MillerJuly 13th I called left a message. Stating I have a new phone number. Later that evening I emailed them. Updated them of my new number.I have an updated number (((redacted))). Please call me today as my husband and I have come to a decision about the chicken coop. As 3/4 of the coop will need to be replaced the wire enclosure is the 1/4 that was built well.

The lock can not close properly
Top of hutch/nest the uneven side bar with the hinge not flushed and creates a huge crack the will leak (top view)
Side view
Better view of the large space that will leak
It came in the mail cracked It could be from shipping but the crack splits more that 3/4 of the piece
Two holes from the wood not flushed with each other and slits wood
Once the window is open the slide door is shorter that the space window.
It fell off when I opened the window
Window frame is loose and wiggles
The walk way. Not only is it extremely smaller then the length of the door size, as pictures on the website showed but it doesn’t have the two hinged (as advertised) plus the large gap
View of small the walk way, that size wasn’t pictured on the website. Theres a gap so the chickens can fall off walking out the door
The hole and gap from the non flushed hutch/next top
The door isn’t lined up to go through the hole
Roof cracks and leaks
Space opening for little critters to get at
Wood Puddy on the roof hole
More wood Puddy on the roof for the holes
As far as I can close the window because of the nail.
Two holes in the wood and showing a better view of the defective window
The second window that can’t close. Closer view of the nail and wood.
