We went to the Druid Hills Chipotle in Atlanta after visiting my husband's brother, who was in ICU at Emory University Hospital. The Chipotle staff was rude and obnoxious to begin with, but we ignored it and ate our dinner.

Before we left, I went to the Ladies room. Upon leaving the bathroom, I slipped and fell extremely hard on both of my knees due to the fact that they had FLOODED the floor instead of just mopping it, and there was no yellow "CAUTION WET FLOOR" sign anywhere to be found. Deep purple and red bruises formed IMMEDIATELY on both knees; I have never seen anything like it.

I calmly went to the front and asked for the manager. One of the girls behind the counter promptly called me a "puta", not realizing that I know the Spanish word for "Prostitute" (that's the least profane way I can put it). I said to her, "What did you just call me?" and she ignored me, a huge smirk on her face.

When he finally emerged, the manager was obviously very nervous. He took what seemed like a useless report.

Over the next few days, I was called by various managers who wanted to make up for my injuries (which I took photographs of) by buying me a free lunch at their store. Since I live in Alabama, this was not a possibility, and I obviously did not want to go there again after what happened!

I also find the offer of a free lunch to be an utter insult and an extremely weak compensation for the injuries -- both mental and physical -- that I sustained.

I demanded an apology from the girl who called me a "puta" and did not receive one. I'm sure she wasn't even reprimanded. I was not even offered a refund for the meal that we purchased that evening, even after being injured (the bruises and pain did not go away for 3 weeks; that's how hard I fell) and verbally insulted.

The lack of a wet floor sign screams LAWSUIT and the rudeness of the employees there was extraordinary. I have never been so insulted in a place of business in all my life. Stay FAR AWAY from the Druid Hills Chipotle. I have photographs and a copy of the report that the manager took, even though on the actual report it reads, "Do not give copy to customer." The report states "LACK OF WET FLOOR SIGN."

To add further insult to injury, someone representing Chipotle and several other restaurants called wanting another report. She called during my work hours. I made 3 attempts to call this woman -- named Pandora Pounds -- back and left 3 voicemails. In my last message, I said I would retain council if she did not get back to me; that I should not have to beg her to call me back, being as I was the one injured. Sure enough, she called after that voicemail, and she left a nasty message with my husband, claiming that I "needed to leave a message" when I called. If I didn't leave a message (3 at that), then how on earth did she know to finally call me back?

All in all, Chipotle does not care one iota about their customers, and every single person I have encountered after my fall in their store has been extremely nasty and incompetent.

I am still VERY interested in pursuing a lawsuit.
