Drew,
I am truly sorry for the time and money spent on your car. Without question neither my son or myself were ever aware of any of damages and repairs you state or could ever complete the detailed list of repairs to sell a car. My son purchased this car directly from a dealer and it was sold to him as is condition and sold to you in the same manner only having put a few 1,000 miles on it prior to you buying it. My son like you never had this car inspected by a 3rd party and was unaware of any of the issues listed even after selling it to you until reading this report.

I take full responsibility for not having the vehicle inspected beforehand, and I have already stated that, however, there are some defects that an inspection will not catch. One such defect is the deliberate milling of a flywheel, which was discovered by a trusted and certified mechanic at Annaptown Import Service in Edgewater, MD. The number of that Shop is 410-956-0849. If you were to call there, ask for Fred, and inquire about a 2002 BMW 330Ci with a milled flywheel which cooked a clutch, he will tell you that:
1.The flywheel was somehow damaged
2.It was then partially milled out, and then a disc was inserted so that the clutch would still grab the flywheel
3.This procedure will only work as long as the disc is intact, which he estimated would be about 5 months.
4. Once that disc disintegrated, it took the bad flywheel about a day to cook the clutch.
5. This procedure is so unorthodox that it took his shop an extra day to fix the car due to not being able to figure out why the flywheel wouldn't sync with a new clutch.
The clutch failed completely almost exactly 5 months from the date of sale. This leads me to the conclusion that the temporary repair was done exclusively to sell the car. Who is more likely to have the knowledge of, and ability to make that temporary flywheel repair? Would you bet on the 18 year old kid I bought it from, or the used BMW salesman who happens to be his father?
I put my money on the used BMW salesman, and knowing that such methods are employed by Mr. Cheever to sell a vehicle, I would not buy from him, nor any entity he is associated with.

First let me begin by stating that B & C auto had nothing to do with the sale of said complaint. This vehicle was bought and sold by my son under no false pretense of any knowing to himself or said purchaser. No Car Fax or Auto Check VIN# history should ever be accepted as gospel and only reflect history that has been reported to state agencies or insurance companies. Many vehicles are repaired without ever showing any history of these repairs. As Drew stated he should have as should everyone have any used vehicle inspected by a 3rd party just for the stated complaint prior to making a purchase. Buying a used vehicle no matter from an individual or a licensed dealer can be a very stressful decision and should never be taken lightly.
B & C Auto prides itself in selling quality BMW vehicles and have many satisfied clients to agree. After dealing with high pressure tactics and pushy dealership sales people customers have come to find us providing a hassle free pleasant buying experience that they recommend to other friends and relatives.
