CELA has gained a terrible reputation in the community by lying to parents and teachers. The administration is a bunch of misfit toys that have no business being educators. There is a complete lack of consistency and zero common sense. The School Board is non-responsive and does not adhere to their own handbook. The school administration openly mocks other students and parents and very openly disclosed private information about another family's divorce and child custody case when I questioned them about a negative google review. School administration informed me prior to my child enrolling that the school would be accredited by the summer of 2017. After they took $4,000 from me for a single semester, I found out that the school is not accredited- they only planned to attend an informational session about accreditation through WRISA in the "summer of 2017"- documented in an email. They continue to lie to parents about their accreditation- see their google reviews. They will tell parents that the school will be accredited in 2 years, less than the 3-5 years it normally takes- which is the same lie that was told to me. In fact, their "intent" is to move to fast track accreditation which will require that they actual adhere to WRISA standards first. In fact, they have no control over how fast they can be accredited, as WRISA decides this.

I have their lies documented to me in an email format, so they can't even dispute it that they're misleading consumers about their accreditation status. I have requested full repayment from the school and I have yet to be refunded. When your program is not accredited, there is no guarantee that the education your child has been receiving is adequate. Based on the lack of accountability, I am certain that parents are being intentionally misled to improve enrollment. The school suffered massive turnover in its first year- no surprise that parents were also intentionally misled about the type of religious education that would be offered. The founders of the school do not have backgrounds in education. They basically throw some concepts at a wall to see if it sticks. There is no scientific evidence behind their curriculum.
