A Federal Grand Jury indicted NEZER in the Stencilco case on two counts of Fraud by Wire and two counts of Fraud Inducing Interstate Travel. The FBI had planned to arrest NEZER at his new "shop" at 1324 South Main Street, Springfield, TN.

However, in a fluke NEZER was pulled over by local police at 12:30 am ON 9/3/07 and arrested on the federal warrant that had been entered into NCIC. The FBI picked him up from the local lockup and "escorted" him - in handcuffs - to the Federal Courthouse.

NEZER was afforded his Initial Appearance before a Federal Magistrate Judge today and was released on a $10,000 Appearance Bond. NEZER told the Magistrate Judge that he will retain a private attorney. He will likely use as his defense that he is just a poor excuse for a businessman. If he does perhaps his activities at Classic Muscle could be used by the prosecution to rebut that defense.

KUDOS TO THE FBI AND U.S. ATTORNEY'S OFFICE!!!!

For the many fans of Christoher Michael Nezer, particularly those from Classic Muscle.   Nezer completed his 51 month Federal sentence for mail and wire fraud (Stencilco, Inc.). On release he was arrested by Kentucky authorities and removed to stand trial for passiung a bad $38,000 check. He pled guilty and was sentenced to 48 months in prison.  He comes up for paroile for the first time in May 2014. If you, like me, would like Nezer to spend as much time behing bars as possible please consider wrting to the Kentucky Parole Board and oppose his early release under any conditions. Nezer is no doubt planning his next scam and your efforts might save some innocent person from being his next victim. Write the Parole Board at:

UPDATE: CLASSIC MUSCLE SS, CLASSIC MUSCLE RESTORATIONS, GREENBRIER & SPRINGFIELD, TN, MIKE NEZER, MICHAEL NEZER, CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL NEZER

#3Author of original report

Fri, August 22, 2008

I have received numerous inquiries concerning NEZER from past and present victims so I thought I would add a short update those wise enough to do a web search prior to giving this career criminal any of their money. NEZER's Federal trial has again been delayed but the four count Federal indictment for fraud in the STENCILCO case remains pending and hopefully trial or plea will occur soon. NEZER has continued his activities despite the pending Federal charges. He was recently arrested on an out-of-state warrant for passing a bad check (NSF) for $35,000. He is telling people that he canceled payment on the check written as payment for several cars when in reality according to the victim (a car dealer) it was an NSF check from the outset. Whatever the truth it was enough for the victim to get a warrant and have it served out of state - no mean feat these days. It defies logic but at a hearing following the bad check arrest the TN court released NEZER on a $75,000 bond before the out-of-state authorities could pick him up. He posted bond by using two of his muscle cars as collateral with a bail bond outfit. The bail bondsman would be wise to double check the ownership of those two vehicles even though he has physical custody of them. So, NEZER is out on a Federal bond, and he continues to get in trouble with the law. To the extent that a state warrant for felony theft was issued. This information has been brought to the attention of the appropriate federal and state authorities in TN. Hopefully, SOMEONE will do something about this character before he dupes more victims. NEZER is operating as Classic Muscle SS or Classic Muscle Restorations. In fact, on his website he writes "Classic Muscle (tm) (c)." What does that mean, he trade marked or copyrighted the name "Classic Muscle"? Not likely, but he no doubt wants his marks to think that is is. An how is it that he continues to operate as Classic Muscle when a nearly identical scam he operated under that name declared bankruptcy in 2006? And where did he find another stooge foolish enough to back his new operations in Greenbrier and Springfield? One source reports that his money man is a local police official. We'll see. And I love the part of his website that advertises a third location but it is: "3rd Location is Paint Booth/Coating/Finishes Not listed/Private-location" Let's see, painting is a major part of any muscle car restoration and yet NEZER is keeping the location of his painting capabilities secret. Why????? What is this nonsense about it being a "private location'? More likely is it possible that it is a non-existent location? I challenge anyone, and I mean anyone, to log into this website and report that they have paid for and received restoration services from Classic Muscle SS. That is, you gave your car and money to NEZER and received a satisfactorily completed car in return. ANYONE.... I feel confident that no one will. That is based on the experience of over 45 victims and $1.2 million lass incurred by NEZER's last scam, Classic Muscle Restoration and Salvage Company, Inc. Please .... don't be foolish enough to trust this character with either your money or your car. And if you do I suggest paying by credit card so when your money goes down the tubes you may have some recourse for recovering your money. More to come..............

Federal Trial of Christopher Michael NEZER Rescheduled for 1/22/2008

#4Author of original report

Sun, December 09, 2007

The following update is provided for those NEZER victims of his Stencilco and Classic Muscle scams. And for those unfortunate victims that have already turned over their money and cars to NEZER at his shop in Springfield, TN. All we can say is that we tried to warn you. On 10/16/07, NEZER made a motion to continue his trial date and waived his right to a speedy trial. The motion was granted and NEZER's trial date was reset for 1/22/2008. Sources familiar with the car show scene in and around Nashville advise that NEZER has come up with an entirely new scheme to lure customers into his shop. The pitch has something to do with winning a free classic car restoration but even I can't seem to put this scam together. If anyone has the goods on his latest con please post a report right here on RipOff Report so we can also benefit from it. It's disheartening but not surprising or shocking that NEZER has updated and continued his Classic Muscle scam even though he is under indictment in the Stencilco case. Con-men believe they can talk themselves out of anything. Let's see him talk his way out of this life long fan. Once again every NEZER victim owes a huge thank you the FBI Special Agents and Assistant United States Attorney that have made putting NEZER out of action a priority. Any current car enthusiast that has gotten caught up in NEZER's current scam or actually turned over a car or money to him is urged to run, not walk, to the Nashville office of the FBI.
