I purchased a 2007 dodge charger and an extended warranty chrysler service contract at 6,000miles i broke down my radiator broke my car was towed to chrysler delaership then the delaer told me that a rock hit the radiator and that wasnt covered under any warranty or extended warranty i had purchased it cost me 1,100 dollars for a new radiator people never buy a chrysler service contract its a ripoff when your car breaks there dealers have every excuse in the book not to cover you and its not just me its easy to find other people that have been ripped off buy chrysler in the past.

Chrysler Service Contract Claim Denial

I am an employee of a Jeep dealership that sells Chrysler Service Contracts. Most Vehicle Service Contracts are stated coverage contracts. This means that the contract covers only those components listed. If a problem exists that is not listed under the coverage declaration in the Service Contract policy, it is not covered. Physical damage to a vehicle from an outside source is not covered under any service contract. A rock damaging the radiator would be classified as damage from an outside source. Usually physical damage is covered under the owner's auto insurance plan. Chrysler offers very good Vehicle Service Contracts that cover from 800 to over 5,000 components. All Chrysler Service Contracts include vehicle rental reimbursement and towing coverage. Most are transferrable. Chrysler now offers a Lifetime "wrap" service contract on new vehicles that is unmatched in the auto industry. My advise is to read your coverage and buy the best coverage that you can afford. Remember Murphy's Law.
