I received a charge on my account and found this website in my attempt to find a phone number for this company. My issue is that I continued to be charged the "annual membership" after I cancelled my account---AND RECEIVED MY INITIAL REFUND FOR THE YEAR 2002!!! Don't be fooled--they charged me in Nov. 2002 and I called, cancelled, and got a refund. THEN THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN IN 2003!! Be very wary of these companies--their tactics are deceit and avoidance--and deliberatly inaccurate recordkeeping in order to feign ignorance.
Also, the above number is accurate, and I was on hold less than 15 minutes. Be sure to track who and when you spoke to someone. I was able to get me refund, AGAIN, although on a pro-rated fee structure. I was charged $0.22 per day for this "service"--and I did find that my correct e-mail was listed with this company--but no "credit alerts" were ever delivered to me. (During this year alone I took out two loans and paid off over $50,000 in credit card debt.) You would think those would qualify for credit monitoring.
