Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We are made to drive vans that are not safe to drive, if we refuse we will be terminated. There have been times that wheels have fallen off the vans while they have been in use. When we take them to the mechanic, he just strips parts off of other vans, and puts them on the one we just brought in.

We are supposed to drive 15 hours a day, I found out that it does not include wait time, which is usually between 6&13 hours. They expect us to live in those smelly vans 24/7. They lie to you when they hire you, the supervisors tell you that you will get all of your wait time, when if fact you only get 45% of the total wait time which Sucks!!!

N&S pays the company $17,000.00 a month for the use of the vans we the drivers do not see any of that money at all, we get 17 cents a mile, and $6.50 an hour wait time. When you start with them they hold you back a month on your pay, which I think is illegal. In closing I would like to say to all persons who may want to drive for Cimarron Coach, DONT!

"We are made to drive vans that are not safe to drive, if we refuse we will be terminated." "There have been times that wheels have fallen off the vans while they have been in use." Was that YOUR van? Didn't you ever check it with a pre-trip form? If you had, it probably wouldn't have happened. Maybe the company thought you had at least elementary knowledge and that wheels should all have lug nuts. I mean, that's not listed on your pre-trip form, but some things are thought to be common sense. "When we take them to the mechanic, he just strips parts off of other vans, and puts them on the one we just brought in." That is what most mechanics do. The only difference is that the company owns all the vehicles and keeps all the good and working parts for those still on the road. Oh wait, another difference is that the parts are then free rather than having to buy them. That's smart in these days of inflation and a weak economy. That's odd, I went home between runs. Maybe you forgot to ask what constituted waiting. You could have gone home, taken a nap, surfed the internet, washed the laundry, prepared dinner or paid bills while waiting. Just let the office know where you are and they will call you when they have a run for you. Why was your van smelly? How hard is it to hang an air freshener in the vehicle you drive? Further, if the office calls you at midnight and tells you there is a pickup at 0430 at a location about 30 minutes from your house, you will not be paid wait time if you rush over and sit there from half past midnight until 0430. The wait time starts at 0430. You should have known that. Since you didn't, you are blaming the company for not knowing you didn't know to ask. "(snip) pays the company $17,000.00 a month for the use of the vans we the drivers do not see any of that money at all, we get (snip)." I would love to know how you gained access to financial records of the company. If you drew a paycheck, you had a share of the monies collected from any and all clients. What you got was what you agreed to work for when you were hired. Unless you are/were an investor, you have no further right to additional funds. "When you start with them they hold you back a month on your pay, which I think is illegal." You think it is illegal or it is illegal? Are you sure that's what they did or do you think that's what they did? Why didn't you ask an attorney if you thought a crime had been committed against you? Let me guess: you didn't know to ask. "In closing I would like to say to all persons who may want to drive for Cimarron Coach, DONT!" I would have to say that any person who really wants to work should apply to any company they care to without negativity from a disgruntled former employer of said company. All companies have disgruntled former employees and I think it's fair to say that most of those disgruntled types didn't really want a job; they just wanted to draw a paycheck.
