Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Folks:

Have you ever wanted to experience municipal stupidity at its best? Well, now you can, compliments of
Cynthia DeWitt-Jordan, aka Cindy Jordan. When you read this, you will learn why Michael Savage would call her Cindy Dimwit Moron!  That's because she's a lousy project manager who does not enforce city policy!

Take a look at the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless. Cynthia DeWitt-Jordan was the project
manager. The Austin American-Statesman reported plenty of defects with the building.

Moldy bathrooms, broken showers, a peeling roof, and solar power and water reclamation systems that
worked intermittently. The heavily trafficked building on East Seventh Street takes a beating, with more than 800 homeless people visiting every day to sleep, shower, do laundry, talk to social workers and seek medical care. Taxpayers spend more than $100,000 a year on maintenance for the 28,000-square-foot center. Now it is set for another $685,000 in repairs.

Since 2007, yearly maintenance costs at the shelter have increased 45 percent, according to city records
obtained by the American-Statesman through the Texas Public Information Act. The maintenance staff has increased from four people in 2006 to eight in 2011. During that time, the shelter started sleeping 215 men a night instead of the 100 for which the building was designed. Its day center also started providing services seven days a week instead of the five originally planned.

Guess what, folks? According to a report by ACR Engineering, many of the problems existed at the time of construction. Now why do you supposed that is? It's because the city was not doing their due diligence before the building was even constructed.

"The moisture barrier was not installed correctly and as a result moisture is getting beneath the flooring and is causing the tile to chip and break away," the firm wrote. "The moisture leakage is quite heavy and every day it drips down through the floor slab and into the parking area below the showers."

These things should have been caught before construction, folks.  Of course all Cindy does is blame-storm.

Those repairs are expected to cost $80,000 , according to early estimates. The city might spend another $35,000 to repair a solar water heater that was not built for outdoor use and $45,000 to fix a rainwater collection system that never worked right, the report says.

The roof is expected to cost $40,000 to repair. The protective coating which helps preserve it has been peeling. Stockton said the city tried to hold the contractor responsible, but it became a battle among the installer, the manufacturer and the city over whether the warranty was valid.

Cynthia, what good is a LEED certified building if it has major problems in 7 years and needs replacement?
That's a losing LEEDer of a building, don't you think, folks? We wonder what the USGBC thinks about this building now!

After construction, most of the building had a one-year warranty, said Cynthia Jordan of the city's
Public Works Department, which oversaw the project. Problems that were discovered at the time, such as with the water collection system, were addressed by contractors, she said. But when the warranty expired, the shelter was on its own, she said.

Cindy, the reason the contractor is not paying is because they know the city of Austin did not do their due
diligence. Like most government employees, she has job security because she is an old idiot! She's a big extra crispy bucket of wrong!

Cynthia DeWitt-Jordan aka Cindy Jordan works for a very unethical municipality. Thanks to her inaction, the City of Austin has become widely known for unlawful incarcerations of city employees for requesting past pay stubs for their life-saving medications, making employees use Austin PD to steal city property,
blacklisting of ethical employees who are unemployed for 18 months, shooting people's pets for no reason whatsoever, and even stealing artwork from little 3-year-old Latinas! Instead of addressing issues when they are raised, they get fired. It's no secret the taxpayers have been fed up with this kind of behavior, so much that the people passed Propositions 10 & 11, giving city employees civil service protection from unethical bosses like Cindy Jordan and her bosses Keri Burchard-Juarez and Howard Lazarus.

There's even an infamous memo authored by City of Austin Public Works Employee Christopher Newton stating that employees not review structural engineering aspects of plans.  We saw this memo on a car parked at the San Antonio Riverwalk. It's been seen at Lakeline Mall, the Domain, all the HEBs of the area, ABIA, and even on the Lady Bird Lake Trail. Thanks to Mr. Newton, the city of Austin will now be paying for all the defective construction in the city of Austin. Contractors love his memo because it is their Get Out of Jail Free card. Mr. Newton is really an engineering stupidist who was placed on academic probation at UT Austin during most of his entire time as a student. That means he had a GPA less than 2.0 for nearly every semester he was a student at UT Austin. That's what his college transcripts say that we saw posted out in the open. The reason Newton doesn't want structures to be reviewed is because it would expose his lack of engineering judgment. Too bad for Cynthia Jordan! She refused to do anything
about it.

Check out the new commercial for the City of Austin. It's great! What do you think?

At the city of Austin, they're ready.

They're ready to screw you well in advance.

Their most important job is to keep you and your family stupid. That's what they do day by day. They're
constantly thinking up ways to rip off their taxpayers with the schemes they are developing. Firings of city employees for no reason can happen quickly. And in any season, that's what they focus on most!

The city of Austin in the great state of Texas.

They're ready.

They're ready. They're ready to screw you.

That's municipal stupidity you can count on!

This report will get updated when the employees she wrongfully fires get back to work. For right now, it's time we inform as many people as possible.
