CIS - Complete Investigative Services CSI Nationwide I paid 39.95 to run a basic background check. The web site has no explanation of what is involved in getting a report including additional charges onece you are in the membership area. Internet
I paid $39.95 on the first page of the website to run a simple background check on a person. There is no explanation of how the service works nor the support/contact info. $39.95 only let you into the membership site. Once you're there, you have to pay extra money for every report you want including the one you already paid for when you first signed up.
I came to find out that this site is well known as the rip off site the membership only means to "get you into the member area". Once you're there, you pay for anything and everything you need to do.
I have filed a dispute with my bank, but they were skeptical as to if I will get my money back. I was in the member area for less than 30 minutes and could not get a background report I was looking for even after I paid an extra $10 which brings the total I paid to 49.95....and I got no service, just to get into the member area and find out how much extra every service costs.
