CIS Worldwide And Courtregistry.org No Access, No Help, Just Charges! . Internet
I signed on to courtregistry.org to conduct criminal background searches on potential employees for a staffing agency. I was rerouted to CISworldwide.com which seems to be the mother company. They advertised inexpensive bulk searches for businesses at a price of $7.95/record, so I took the bait.
After paying an intial $49.95 for the trial of 10 searches, I entered a site that was not only confusing, but also seemingly a scam. Not only did I not get credited the 10 searches, but my account funds showed a blanance of $0 instead of the charged $49.95. The list of prices also showed the cost of searches at $10/record not $7.95/record, not that I could have run any with my $0 accoutn balance.
I emailed the HELP desk 4 times,as there is no phone number listed receiving not a single response!
I have since requested a reversal of charges directly through my credit card company, but advise anyone to stay away from CISworldwide.com supported sites and services
