To escape constantly escalating fees, APR increases, etc. I mistakenly made a balance transfer ($4500. on 7/3/04) from Chase card to Citicards after Citi was paid off. Despite numerous emails & phonecalls, Citifrauds refused until today (7/29/04)to return credit balance, insisting they had to "investigate", even though it was my money from one credit card to another, same name, address, etc. In addition, they had been calling several times a day, every day, to collect(illegal).
Despite having their Credit Protector policy, they lied that it does not cover unemployment (it does). Charged me $496.93 in late fees, interest, etc. in four months on $4200. balance.
Called Ken Stork, CEO Citibank, (605)339-2307(home?) His asst, Ms Jody Lang finally said check will be in the mail tomorrow>
