   After reading all of the Citifinancial stories, I see I am NOT the only one with heartache from dealing with them.  We bought our very first home in a rural community and were loving every minute until Citifinancial bought our loan in October of 07.  Immediatly they were a thorn in our side.  From the very beginning they did NOTHING except screw up and make our lives miserable. 

   First they raised our interest from 8% to 14%.  Then because I was injured at work we were 10 days late on ONE payment.  Which we called and told them it would be late and we were told not to worry about 10 days.  Sent our payment and figured everything was fine.  That was in March of 08.  Then in April of 08, we had a late payment letter come and said we were behind 2 Months.  Well I guess that was my fault because when I DID send our payment I sent a double payment. So March's payment was late but that made Aprils payment EARLY.  But THEY didn't see it that way I guess. 

   From there I called and spoke to Customer Service where I was told by "Andre" that it was their mistake and he would do everything to fix it ASAP, and we shouldn't worry.  SO BIG mistake, We didn't worry!!  In June 08 we recieved a Notice of Forclosure.  Not only was this delivered by the Sheriff's office, but on a SUNDAY Morning, and by a friend of mine.  He said it was one of his worst days ever.  He had 4 Forclosure Notices to deliver and although he couldnt tell me any info, by reading the paper the day after I noticed that CITI had forclosed on 4 HOMES that weekend!  According to their records we had a history of "unreliable" payments.  One payment 10 days late and another 20 days EARLY.  To CITI, this is a "history" and is "Unreliable". 

   Again I called and spoke to Andre who, again, reassured me that everything would be ok, he had been working on our account personally and it was fine.  He told us not to send anymore payments until we got our reaffirmation letter, or the money might get lost.  To put it in a Savings Account so it would be there, safe, for when we needed it.  Stupid or Naive, I haven't decided which I was yet.  But seeing that we no longer have our "HOME", I have to go with STUPID. 

   Not only are the people who work for CITI RUDE, they are not informed and I believe they are ALL heartless.  We didn't have the money to fight them and prepared to leave our home when we recieved an EVICTION notice in September of 08.  After close communication with Andre and a once a week reassurance that our paper work was on it's way.  Then in October of 08 we moved out.  Citifiancial is the MOST unprofessional and terrible bussiness that exists today.  To all of it's employees who treat people the way you do...Karma is a b*tch.
