Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Even though I was/am a visitor to the (totally not) "Fair" city of Portland, once I realized my car had been "ALLEDGEDLY LEGALLY STOLEN (towed away)" based upon the BLATANT LIE and Falsification of an official document(a ticket for blocking a driveway) I knew that simply Googling the phrase "Portland Towing Rip Off's" would yeild stores about corruption and kickbacks. Google didn't disappoint. The first thing that came up was a 2014 story about a Portland government employee, a towing company and illegal kick backs. The story is just a little different from my situation. But, not really. It still involves corruption and/or abuse of power and city( employees?) as well as the tow company made a nice piece of change on the transaction. You see, according to them, while visiting some friends, MY CAR, WHICH HAD BEEN PARKED IN THE SAME PARKING SPOT FOR THE PRIOR 3 week DAYS, somehow, on the 4th week day, ended up blocking a driveway that wasn't there(and still isn't) when I first parked my car. My minor is in criminal Justice. My Major is in pre law. And my father is a retired police officer I'm not stupid enough to block a driveway. But Portland, along with their policies(apparently, or so I was told, they contract with certain towing companies rather than using the round robind process, which makes kickbacks/corruption less likely)their well choosen employees as well as their contracted employees, clearly believe that just because no one has been seen around a vehicle in a few days, that they can get away with padding their pockets at the expense of innocent and law abiding people. Especially if those people are from out of State. Trouble is, while I may not have been right there to personally take pictures of this abuse of power and authority, cameras are everywhere these days. SMILE!!! Actually, even without cameras, my GPS alone can prove the distance my car was moved. ; ) So, you forced me to pay $250.00 to get my car back and gave me a $95.00 ticket that you didn't think I'd challenge and kind of ruined my visit. No problem. You're not the first governmental agency I've successfully sued and trust me, I'm coming for you.. I just wish the rest of my fellow citizens would get off their asses and follow suit (no pun intended) because if they did, eventually none of us would need to deal with a government corrupt from it's lowest levels, like it's d**n parking division right on up to the Whitehouse. I don't know about the rest of you, but, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore. What about the rest of you?
