I bought a new truck from Clay Mathews Ford and also purchased an extended warranty at the same time.

In the paperwork for the warranty it says any unused portion of it would be reimbursed.

The warranty was to take up where the factory warranty left off at 36,000 miles ,or three years. After 20 months I decided to trade the truck in.

Seeing as the truck only had 29,000 miles on it I hadn't figured on any problems. Silly me!

When I contacted the warranty company they had never received any money from the dealership and Clay Mathews had long since closed this particular dealership down.

So what they had done was keep my 1,700.00 plus interest and I'm sure I'm not the only one , knowing that they would be closing.

Well the owner Dave Bruckman who also owns Clay Mathews Pontiac in Euclid,Oh. kept the businesses seperate on the books so any claims against one dealership wouldn't affect the other.

So in my opinion with all the run around I've gotten without ever getting a penny back Everybody should stay away from any business that these people are associated with.

If I were you, I would send a copy of your Rip Off Report to Henry Ford's Great Grandson and explain what happend to you. His Email address is [email protected]. Tell him everything.

You must understand that before this web site there was no form of media that would help car buyers get what they were promised. Most of the media would never help you out because they are on the car dealers side.

Call your local newspaper and ask how much would a full page add would cost. The media will never help you get what you were promised. Just follow the money and you will see who's on the dealer's side.

Email a copy of your Rip Off report to [email protected] and Explain that you as a car buying consumer are tired of the way you you are being treated.

Alo Tell William Ford that if Ford wants to regain it's $5.4 Billion that was lost last year, they need to SUCK UP to the car buyers and not the deceptive car dealers.
