CLC Lodging Charge more to use them than the hotel alone
This is suppose to be a hotel discount company that when you provide the card, you pay a fee to them and less to the hotel. NOT TRUE. They have a certain rate when you look up hotels in the area and a different rate in the view rate details. The hotels themselves have no idea how the program works or what the price will be either.
My employees think they are at a $74 a night hotel and two weeks later when they check out, i get a receipt from CLC that is was $130 a night. I have no idea until after and nothing i can do about it. Two days ago my employee could not find his card so he stayed without it. The nighlty fee was $107. The next day he found his card, returned to the front desk and gave it to them. CLC was so great they charged him $130 for a wonderful discount ($27 more).
I email them and i get a reply with what im guessing is an automated statment of let me explain how it works. I know how it works and its bad! Im guessing they sign up big companies and hope no one notices its a complete rip off.
I called and spoke to someone about the hotel being less without the card and other issues and "there is nothing he can do". I told him to cancel it and he could have cared less. Been with them a year and cost me more money and headaches than wihtout it. DO NOT recomeend them at all.
