Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on ClearMask paint protection film out of Trinidad, Texas. I ordered a kit ($424.00) from them and upon arrival I began to install the hood portion. When squeezing the film on with the rubber squeegee which was provided by ClearMask, I noticed the film scratched. Now this was not the first time I have installed clear bra kits. Its more like my 5th time. Never an issue.
Upon seeing this, I removed the film and returned film with the rest of the unused kit back to ClearMask requesting a refund. They refused to refund and returned the kit back to me. Really no use to me as it obviously does not hold up to a rubber squeegee. Beware of this company. They are using very low quality film and marketing it as high end. There are a few BBB complaints on file and I wish I would have looked prior to purchasing. Attached are some pics of the film before I removed it. This is their website: http://www.clearmask.com/

Paint Protection films are made from soft medical grade urethane. They are not made to prevent the film itself from being damaged by hard or sharp objects. They are made to prevent the autos paint from being damaged. The customer damaged the film during install and then expected a full refund. He then said that ClearMask uses low quality film which is also untrue. Both films sold by ClearMask are manufactured by 3M ,one of the leading manufacturers of paint protection film.
ClearMask Protective Films has been an accredited member of the BBB since 08/20/2009.
Here is the findings of the BBB:
Complaint Resolution: BBB determined that despite the company's reasonable effort to address complaint issues, the consumer remained unsatisfied.
