My company used Cloud Services Depot formerly Secure My Company to augment our own IT services and help delivery technical support to our customers over the phone. What we got in service and dependability was not what we bargained for. Their service was awful! On April 1, 2010 (which was Thursday a business day) we noticed that our 800 number - issued by Cloud Service Depot was not receiving calls. We promptly notified Cloud Services Depot's Operations Manager Nick about the problem. It was not until the following day that our service was fully restored. The only explanation we were given was that our toll-free number has been "accidentally" set to a Per Minute account in the backend systems instead of unlimited. When we asked for a refund because of this poor service our account was promptly closed by Cloud Sevices Depot. We complained to the Better Business Bureau but the company has yet to refund our money for the poor service we received. Any company considering using this company for technical support should think twice - they're no good!

My account manager at CSD told me there was a negative compliant posted here and elsewhere on the net by the same person/issue, so I decided to post my experience. I didn't know it was already reviewed by BBB.  I agree with them.  Everyone is free to speak their mind, but the story above doesnt sound right to me.  CSD has always been fair with me when I complained calls took too long.  I got credit for the calls, no questions asked.

I've used the Help Desk for almost a year and just started NOC about a month ago.  Both have been pretty good but not perfect.  THere is a bunch of guides to read and I dont use the reports.  No issues reported from users about help desk issues and i've listened to a bunch of calls.  Sometimes an echo but I'm not sure if that is the user or the help desk.

Anyway, I thought to add a comment here since the other comments didn't match my experience.

Cloud Services Depot Still a Bad Choice

Despite the comments by the company the service is still a bad choice. This has nothing to do with standing behind your VAR's or MSIP's. This has to do with the plain cold fact that the service is subpar and that the company will not make it right.

Cloud Services Depot stands behind resellers

Cloud Services Depot stands behind the members of the channel.  With over 1000 VARs, MSPs and othe IT Professionals using our services, it is difficult to understand why this reseller had an issue with our policies, procedures or pricing.

All services are delivered via a monthly agreement or pay-as-you-go service.  If you don't need the service or don't like it - simply cancel.

Visit our website to view testimonials from our resellers that have been with us for many years.

Cloud Services Depot Makes False Claim

#5Author of original report

I agree that people should read the BBB report concerning this company. However, it is materially false for Cloud Services Depot to represent that Precision IT Help Desk failed to live up to its agreement. We did live up to all of our agreements including paying for the awful service we received! That is why we want a refund of the amounts we paid. We asked for it and Cloud Services Depot failed to refund us. In fact, instead of refunding us they closed our account. That action alone shows how they feel about their customers.

Incident reviewed and settled by the BBB (Better Business Bureau)

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, October 13, 2010

This incident has been reviewed by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and it was found the customer did not adhere to the service agreements provided with the service.

Read the BBB Report at:  http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Report/Cloud-Services-Depot-100095397

This incident is also 6 months old - the customer did not like the result of the BBB audit, so they post here again.

The customer registered for service and then failed to test the sevice (per the setup instructions).  If the customer had tested the new telephone line (who doesn't test a new telephone line?), the issue would have been found and immediately fixed during the setup phase of the account.

Please remove this compliant because it is bogus and already reviewed/deemed by the BBB.
