Cmi talent scout rip-off! False promises! Thieves! Dashed hopes! Worcester Massachusetts
Cmi is a small singing talant scout that tell's little kids that they will be famous and makes all untrue accusations to kids. A little over a year ago, may daughter won a singing contest which she was approched by two teen girls that asked her to be in their band (which was her dream come true). Me and her dad desided okay and we paid 300.00 to the cmi company. My daughter was then promised:
1-a really cool badge with her photo and cmi on it, which could get her in the centrum back stage to meet stars- result 1 year later, no badge delived as of yet.
2-promiss a limo to go to boston to shop for what singers should be wearing result-never went.
3-was told she would be picked up at home in a done over really big suv. result-instead was picked up in a small run down red car, owned by brian gibeault.
4-really nice studio to pracitce in result-apartment place on dryden st., just resently they moved to main st. more than half the practices where at one of the girls houses in northboro.
5-they asked us to a welcome dinner result-costed us 12.00 a ticket and they kicked us out after the meal so they could play the rap music with swears, so we sat in a resaurant looking in the booked off area at all them for 1hr.
6-i asked that my daughter become a solo singer but if not she would not quit "Everything Nice" (the band name). result they said yes and now a year later we have hear nothing except if we would give more money (100.00) for my daughter to have one song on a cd.
Not only have a left msg for a refund, wrote e-mails. my daughter has cried for days that her dreams our gone. they lie, take your money and get away with it all.
