BEWARE OF CMP COMMERCIAL.
We were contacted by Steve Morse on a Loan request for a Mall in Houston. He said eveerything that we wanted to hear. Offered great pricing and fair fees. Once the client sent in his commitment/processing fee things started to change.
First of all i dont think he has a processor or anyone else in the company.
After the commitment fee was received he change the fees and conditions.
He never supplied the requested fee agreement and has not paid us .
He has blocked my calls and will not return emails. He is gone and will never apy us. I know we arent the first and i hope we are the last victim to his scam.
Funny thing is he could have taken us for so much more if would have waited. But being the CON he is he took what he could get and ran.
He is running but he cant hide.

- He states that I haven't called the bank or appraisal company to supply the receipt. He never supplied that info to me . The Bank and Appraisal company were dealing with CMP not me . So how am i to call when he never told me who they were.
He says he was taking a loss. We agreed to pay out of our commission that he has never paid
He has my contact info as well as Carlos . He has not returned calls or emails from either of us.
He states he said he would pay us on his next closing. Does that mean he got paid on our deal and spent the funds? Last i spoke with him he received a check and was waiting for it to clear .
The deal came from Carlos and it was a fallout from the bank he works for. They are aware of Steve and they were telling him what we now know. Something was not right.
I welcome a call or email from Steve. I would be happy to call the funding bank and appraisal company . All i need is for Steve to release the names and contact info. Plus inform them of my call and authorize them to release all information. But since i was not included in the loan docs why would they release information . Just another flaw in his statements.
As for me supplying my info. This site clearly states for me not to include it. As stated below:
"DO NOT sign your name, or include any e-mail addresses in the report."
All we ask is to be paid and we can move on.

I read the scam report on CMP Commercial-Steve Morse and i needed to reply to this complaint. The person who made the complaint stated i ripped them off and should be blacked balled. He stated that he didn't recieve any referral compensation on that loan CMP Commercial closed. That is true but the reason being he wasn't compensated was because he told the customer that CMP Commercial would pay for the appraisal and it cost the company $4,000.00 US. Yes four thousand dollars!! Who pays for customers appraisals in these times. That lose i took but all i needed was a receipt of the appraisal for the companies tax expenses. He never produced a receipt so my company can not pay the referral fee. I also noticed that he didn't identify his name or his company but the reason for that is because he wanted me to pay him outside of his company and his partner is a senior bank loan officer at a Well known bank where the got the customer without that banks knowledge I would guess. I have no contract with this person but was going to send him a referral check but never received the appraisal for the 4K CMP Commercial paid. Not only is he bad mouthing me on the internet he called my office 97 times in 2 days while i was out of town. My secretary blocked his number but he continues to use different phones a calls every day around 40-50 calls a day i have already blocked 7 different numbers. i think if he would of called the bank or the appraisal company instead of CMP he probably would have gotten an appraisal reciept. And he wants to ruin my reputation and character maybe he should develop these qualities before he tries to ruin others. I told him a few weeks ago that i would pay him a referral fee after my next closing but after all this i am going to hire an attorney to defend the defamation and libel/slander that he has put out on the internet its great having it in writing i guess that's why he never mentioned who he or his company is its as cowardly as the hundreds of phone calls.
