I have to wonder why this person filing the complaint is labeling Coastal a scam? There are no specifics listed to comment on or assist if at all possible. I am three years in business, have been to the official training seminars and participate in training programs available daily. I have built a very successful secondary stream of income. I am a professional travel agent and focus my Coastal business in the small and mid-size business marketplace allowing them to utilize trips and packages as incentive programs.

Coastal Vacations is a company that has been in existence for over a decade. The company has never changed its name and never hid the fact that vacations must be carefully planned in order to be maximized. If the vacations are carefully planned--the system truly works. Hundreds of people use Coastal Vacations for their travel throughout the year without a hitch. It is not uncommon for vacations to be added or deleted from a package based on availabilty and economic elements such a rising fuel costs, etc. This is a travel club so those variations must be considered. The complex business of working with hundreds of resorts, hotels, motels, airlines, condo associations, restaurants, rental car companies across the globe for over ten years successfully is quite an accomplishment. While we are empathetic that your vacation did not work as planned, we simply sold (and delivered) a package provided by Coastal Vacations. We have received many compliments from other customers who used their packages successfully and thanked us for introducing them to Coastal Vacations. I am very proud to be a pastor of a growing and thriving congregation. I was contacted one time by the customer and gave them a regional director's phone number to get them the help they needed. I never heard from them again-I thought their issues were resolved. Michael Peterson
