I am very saddened in that 3 yrs ago, I trusted an individual with Coastal Vacations to guide me into buying a level 3 membership and then subsequent web addresses, and leads.  I spent approx $10,000 plus the cost of setup, leads etc.
I regret this, but mostly I regret having been taken.  Especially haven been taken under the guise of this is a family, a community of help and God is at the head of it.
As a Christian I trusted that.  Once my director received my money, she no longer cared like she did when she was guiding me to purchase this.
I even went to seminars, did the calls etc.
I wish there was some way to get my money back, but I guess this is one of these exp. that you have to chalk up to learning.
Don't do Coastal Vacations.....ever!

Honest Consumer Opinion About Coastal Vacations Membership Program

#2Consumer Comment

Wed, November 17, 2010

Hi BL,

I don't know if you still check this posting but I hope you will at some point read this. I'm not a direct member of Coastal but I'm sharing the membership with my sister who's a Level 3 member and so far, from a pure consumer perspective and not a sales perspective, my sister and I are loving Coastal Vacations membership every vacation we book. Just to give you a little back ground of me, I consider myself a very savvy and sophisticated budget traveler who's very knowledgeable about all the public travel offers out there. (((Redacted))), (((Redacted))) (((Redacted))) etc etc and I have to say that Coastal Vacations provides a great supplement to my family vacations that I would not otherwise have. This does not mean that I depend on Coastal Vacations for all my travel needs because depending on the occasion, the urgency of my vacation needs, I do use other public websites as well but my family and I have found Coastal Vacations to be an indispensable part of every vacation trip planning. For example, I recently booked a 5 day 4 night package over next year MLK holiday in Jan to Nassau Bahamas using one of Coastal's product and flight + hotel together only cost me $754 for two people, whereas the cheapest package through Expedia for the same period was $1144 and (((Redacted))) packaged advertized through (((Redacted))) after advertized instant savings was $1082. That's almost $400 savings right away, all booked in one day without any hassle. If you're a frequent bargain hunter like me, you would know that the prices quoted above is NOT A SALES PITCH.

My family and I also use their vouchers now and then if we are not looking to travel in a hurry although I do agree that there are some hoops you have to jump first before you get to it. Nothing is absoulutely free in this world but Coastal Vacations have provided us an access to deep discounted travel opportunities that allowed us to save tons of money over the years.

As with regard to your experience trying to sell this membership, I would recommend you listen to their training/product calls that occur every M-Thur through their official site. The board of directors like Stephanie Johnson provides a very good support to all fellow members. As it is with every entrepreneurship, I wouldn't tell you the first step is easy but I think with patience, hard work and the support other members provide you with, Coastal Vacations membership is a good program to market to the public. Just bear in mind that people need time to gradually warm up to an idea and as long as they can find values in Coastal Vacations like I do, they will realize it's a good product to purchase and don't you quit before the prospect get to that stage.

I see a lot of people call Coastal Vacations a scam, but I happen to love their service (I mean, the opportunity/access I get to have with all the travel incentive and discount programs). So if you happen to be a member BUT DON'T WANT your packages, then donate it ALL to me. ;-);-);-);-);-). My email is [email protected] and I'm open to all your Coastal Vacation "goodies" that you consider worthless. If you don't want it, I can at least put it to good use. ;-);-);-)

Will Be Sad To See Coastal Vacations Go.

First, I'll have to say that I'm not a coastal member, my relative was. I learnt from her that it's a MLM program that profits by promoting a discount travel club/programs. I'm not sure if she has literally sold the program to other people but I personally have been given several travel vouchers from spirit incentives etc that worked great for me. The vouchers from Spirit incentives etc is after all, NOT A COMPLETE FREE LUNCH, however, after taking into account all the fees & taxes, they are still a great bargain comparing to any other public deals out there. In addition, I was surprised to find that I was not required/pressured into listening a sales presentation. Now, there are hoops and hurdles you have to jump and rules you have to follow, but as long as you have some patience, it really work. I had used Spirit Incentives land vouchers from Coastal Vocations to travel several places and we stayed at Holiday Inn. I really enjoyed these trip and had saved a ton. It would be really sad to see Coastal go because I don't know where else I would be able to get the access to these vouchers. If you don't want your Spirit Incentives vouchers before they expire, you can donate it to me by sending me an email at (((ROR redacted))) I cannot comment on using it as a home business product since I'm not a Coastal member and I have never tried to sell it but as a consumer who have used their vouchers, I loved the ability to access these great discount programs given to me through my relative.

Coastal Vacations Lawsuit

#5REBUTTAL Individual responds

Fri, July 02, 2010

Many complaints have been filed against Coastal Vacatins and N. B. Management through the Better Business Bureau. Complaints against Coastal Vacations can be found everywhere on the internet.

The Central Florida Better Business Bureau has been sending out notices about the ongoing complaints to N. B. Management. According to the the Central Florida Better Business Bureau, N. B. Management has refused to respond to any of the complaints filed.

Now, there is more bad news for this vacation travel business opportunity! It appears that Coastal Vacations / N. B. Management, has been operating illegally. State authorities said they have filed a lawsuit.

Department investigators said they served a cease-and-desist order against NB Management owner Al Romine while Al Romine was conducting a "training seminar" at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida. Because of the continuous complaints and lawsuits many of the well known top earners and leaders have left.

Some Coastal Directors have been graceful and said, "I have retired from Coastal Vacations". While others were more direct with a statement like, "I have found something better than Coastal Vacations".

Stephanie Johnson and the Coastal Vacations Board of Directors try to explain the lawsuit away. A lot of lying and scamming goes on in Coastal Vacations. Anytime, you have big rip-off profits, there will be BIG lying and scamming.
