If you eat at Cockney Kings and pay by credit card, CHECK YOUR STATEMENT! They overcharged my Visa and gave me a phoney receipt! When I confronted them about it they tried to play it off as if it wasn't an error made by them when it SAID Cockney Kings on my Visa transaction records (THEY LATER ADMITTED THAT IT WAS THEIR ERROR VIA SOCIAL MEDIA!)
I've been eating at this restaurant since I was a child and after this will NOT be returning. Had I not checked my Visa online, I wouldn't have even known about this fraud committed by Cockney Kings.
So again, I cannot reiterate it enough, if you eat at Cockney Kings and pay via credit card, CHECK. YOUR. STATEMENT. I doubt I'm the first customer they have done this to.
I also was less than impressed with their attempts at doing damage control regarding this matter via Twitter, but it's not surprising since their Customer Relations manager, Greg Dion, studied Communications.

Your client? Too funny. A few days ago you were mad because you apparently got ripped off by a website people have never heard of - the fact that you expecte(d) people to believe you is hilarious in and of itself. Now you're claiming that you're not actually the person that got ripped off but that said person is your "client"? Yet you still also refer to YOURSELF as being that person in your rebuttal. Something's not adding up here, "WritersWrath" ...or should I say SHAWNA? Celebritydirtylaundry is also affiliated with the site in which you claim ripped you off. Better luck next time, babycakes!
