This individual has been defamed by KLAS-TV8 and two reporters Colleen McCarty and Steve Kanigher, the Individual whose name is Jack Ferm is suing them and the Media in Las Vegas have kept the public from knowing about the lawsuit.

I watched McCarty and her "know it all" attitude in her reporting, and I am happy to see someone standing up to her and taking her to task for her made up reports. I had suspected for some time that her reports were being hyped, then I found this blog while looking her up and also saw the lawsuit which is also listed, if you search for Colleen McCarty and Lawsuits, you will find alot of information about this "reporter" and her associate Steve Kanigher. search him the same way.

After reading these articles, I wonder why KLAS keeps them employed apparently they make up their reports or slant them to attack and d estroy people for what they claimis news.

What a horrible news reporter this woman is. I too worked for an electronics company here in Vegas that was harrassed for months by this self serving manipulative idiot! She accussed us of overcharging our clients, which we were not. She did broadcast some crap, the company was going to sue, they decided not to waste the energy. Sleaze balls like her (yes, I agree with all the other complaints against her) always get f****d themselves in the end. Like another consumer said, bad karma always comes back to you. I will never forget this lady coming into our office and accusing us of stuff she knew nothing about. Colleen McCarty and CBS TV are obviously looking for any crap they can air to make money off ratings. With everything going on in this world and she's reporting about a bunch of s**t like she does. Yes, she needs to get a life and get out of town. She has reported on PurFect Auto Service for years and it has done nothing to the company. PurFect auto is also WINNING the case against them by the Nevada Attorney General. Funny, huh? But McCarty still airs her dumb a*s s**t to people all the time. Yes, thanks to the internet, now reporters like Colleen McCarty can be exposed for the con merchants they are! Loved these complaints, hopefully more will come in on her.

I totally agree with this commentary on Colleen McCarty! She is totally a scum bag Reporter, if she can even call herself a Reporter!

She, and her deadbeat camera men (LOSERS) harrassed a business I worked at last year! She came in thinking she had a hot story due to one of our customers who didn't at all follow our service contract. Colleen knew this but went ahead, desperate for ratings and created a story on my ex boss's business which was a great company and still is regardless of the deadbeats at Channel 8 News Now and Colleen McCarty! I agree with everything the individual had to say about her and Channel 8 and CBS.

It's good to know that many consumers are no longer tunning into Channel 8 and McCarty. These types of sleazy wanna be reporters need to get a life. They obviosuly do have many skeletons in their closet and yes I'm sure McCarty has plenty.

As a mother, it's appalling to see another mom act in this manner just to make money.

Shame on you Colleen and Channel 8! Your a disgrace to the entire world of journalism!
