Colonial Inn Franklin NC Will go into your ROOM!!! Franklin North Carolina
Our employees stayed at the Colonial Inn in Franklin NC. They got up and went to work, upon returning to the hotel room they found someone had entered the room and turned their heat off. When they confronted the manager he explained that if you are gone for more then 4 hours they check the room and if your not there you don't need heat. So our employees worked all day to return to a freezing cold room. When we called to confront the manager (who didn't speak clear English) he admitted he went into the room, but assured us he was alone and denied that he turned the heat off in the room , so he just left? He then put someone on the phone who spoke better English and he said "sue us and we will sue you that's what we do" "We went into the room to look for dead bodies, because that's what we have to do here" I told him we expect privacy for our employees and once we have paid for the room there is no reason to enter into their hotel room (except maid services of course) just to look around!!! Do NOT stay at this hotel.
