Colortyme Round Lake IL Collection/Repo attempt on 12 year old Round Lake Beach, Illinois
This particular location sent an individual to collect due that we were late (extenuating circumstances but I admit we were late)payment on two rented items. The problem is that I (person on contract) was at the VA hospital when this occurred. My wife was asleep ill in the bedroom and my 12 yoa son was playing a video game in a shirt and boxers. The driver/collector attempted to get in both the front and back door trying the knobs. He then yelled through the window at my son who became frightened.
This individual then told my son that he was in trouble and to open the door so he could come into my home to repo the ipad. My son said no and that he did not only not talk to strange men but certainly would not let them in the house. This representative of Colortyme continued to yell at my son, called him a liar and was verbally abusive with him. I made a 200.00 payment the next day (today) and when my wife asked to talk about what happened with this individual she was ignored. I truly feel that an associate with any company sould not approach a minor in such a way. I have made attempts to reach Colortyme regarding this incident.
