You'll find my situation and report right below yours. I too have been hearing the same crap over and over again from Comcast. To this day they still owe me a large amount of money for their techs destroying our property, it was supposed to be on our last bill, needless to say, were beeing billed when it should be a very negative balance. Comcast has to be the most incompetent people I have even met. My situation is now going on 7 months. I've tried going to the main office, nothing except the run around. I finally posted a report on this site. A woman rebuttaled to file a complaint with my local franchising authority, Comcast is supossed to inclued this information on their bill, mine did not. She also recommended complaininf to the FCC. I did, that's when about a month ago, they finally called and said they would fix everything and that the account would be clean and inclued the remainer that Comcast owes us onto our bill. Not so, so I'm complaining to the FCC again, maybe Comcast will get the hint, I'm not playing anymore. The best thing you can do at this time is to complain to the FCC. You can fill out a complaint form via their website. You probally won't here for Comcast for about 2 weeks, but you will here from them. Also, when they call, tell them your recording this conversation. Good luck to you.
