My husband and I wrote the report on Comcast prior to this one. They will not do anything until you piss the right people off. Send a complaint to the FCC then send a certified letter to Comcasts' main office in PA. (You'll find the adress on their website) To date, we are still having problems with our service. They won't credit anyhting else, so we told them we would not pay. The FCC clearly states, "No Service, No Payment." We told them when they finally fixed the problems, we would pay for what service we did receive, we were told that was fine. We also have been charged for PPV's we never ordered or received. Funny though, if we try to order a PPV, we're told to call their local office. When we call the local office, they tell us that everyone that has digital gets PPV by pressing the order button. Bull! All it does when you hit the order button, is tell you to call In Demands PPV Number. So my question to Comcast would be, if it's so hard for one of us that have cable to order a PPV on our account, why is it so easy for someone else to order it on our accounts? They're probally pulling a "Blockbuster". You see at Blockbuster, an employee will rent a video that comes in and they don't check it in. The customer gets a late fee and wonders how it was late when it was clearly in on time. I think that's basically what Comcast does, their employees order PPV on someone elses account and they get billed. There are new Cable rules and regulations being discused in Congress right now, hopefully someone does something about Monopolies taking advantage of consumers. It's got to stop somewhere. Good Luck!
