So your tv was also hooked up to direct tv Well then your dispute should be with them since there recievers back feed power through the coax cable wires so that the transmitter on the dish its self can send the satillite signal to your receiver set top box and it sounds like their wire was not grounded at all or the ground for the dish was a bad ground. That is the dish companies fult your tv dosn't work now no the cable companies. So i would call them to get your money for the TV Thanks for letting me educate on this web site.

First, thanks for writing, it is rare that a customer is so honest about what happens. Second, did you ever request a different tech company? We sub-contract, so this is poss. Third, it is not the fault of the tech no one told him what TV it was, there is no way to put that on the work order, your daughter should have known, or called you. Third get your companies straight. Comcast is no longer part of Cable Vision!
