Commerce Payment Systems Failed to refund Hewlett, New York
On 2/24/11 I faxed a Cancellation Letter to Commerce Payment Systems, effective 03/01/11. My last batch with this company was 03/01/11. They debited by account in April for $24.85 which I understand was for March processing. However, on 05/03/11 they debited my account $38.37. They say they did not receive the fax and the refund has been denied. The fax was successfully sent. The reason I cancelled with this company is because of their customer service. On several occassions I had customers in the store and If needed to contact them and my hold time was 30-45 minutes and the customer ended up leaving.
Every time I called them and was on hold and asked to leave a message and call back number, no one ever called. Now I have faxed David Devers 3 days in a roll concerning this ma tter and left messages and no call. This is not alot of money but more a matter of principle. I did as they say and faxed the cancellation letter. with their history of neglecting the customer, it is no suprise that they are saying they did not receive the fax.

I just wanted to comment that I also had a very negative experience with this company Commerce Payment Group but my experience with David Devers was wonderful. He immediately took care of my concern, reassured me that it would be handled in 24 hours and it was. I got my money back without any huge battle. Sometime I think we forget that the employees that work for these companies are not the company and I just felt strongly that David Devers name should be cleared
