I went into Computer Haven to get my computer serviced because I had a coupon for 20% off. Without even looking at my computer the owner Charles Hoagland told me the diagnostic was $89 but He told me it sounds like I'll need a new hard drive for another $89 plus to restore the XP on was another $189. His coupon also said he accepts competitor coupons so I showed him the coupon from Affordable Computer Repair located right across highway 35. Well sir, what happened next truly disgusted me. He began telling me about Affordable Computer's owner and its employees. He went on and on so fast I could hardly keep up. But some of the things he rambled about stuck in my head. Such as the prices were higher than his, The store was dirty and employees were illegal aliens and ex-cons. He went on about the owner being a cripple and then proceeded to demonstrate to me how he walked. He called him every name under the sun from a n@gg*r lover and a s!@m bag. Now this man doesn't know me from Adam yet he went on and on for what seemed like an hour. I removed myself and my PC, shaking my head and needing a drink. I decided to take chance and see what agitated this man enough to make such a disgraceful display so, I went over too Affordable Computer Repair in Hazlet. I'm here to tell you I'm glad I did. I felt very comfortable leaving my PC there and even though it's a busy shop, I had my PC fixed the same day for $99. The owner and employees were very helpful and easy to talk too. I also found out why Computer Haven was trying so hard to discredit Affordable Computer. It is because Charles Hoagland the owner of Computer Haven is a Registered Sex Offender. I couldn't believe it and because I don't trust anyone, I checked it out for myself online with the Better Business Bureau and the New Jersey State Police Sex Offender Registry. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. How dare this degenerate have the gall to slander others? What bothered me the most about this experience is I almost gave my PC to this man. I have pictures of my grandchildren on my hard drive and the thought that I almost gave a child pornographer access to them scares the hell out of me. There should be a law to keep sex offenders away from computers and the Internet.

I read this ripoff report regarding Computer Haven and have a hard time believing it's true. I have been a customer there for many years and have always received good service and a polite attitude. I have sent many of my own customers there for computer hardware repair. The prices are fair.
