On 6/6 I purchased a washer and dryer with pedestals from Conn's. They dryer was to be delivered on 6/7 (which it was) and the washer on 6/9. The washer was not received until 6/23. Conn's was selling products they did not have stock, promised one date and delivered whenever they got the product in (can someone say bait and witch)?
In addition, the washer that was delivered on 6/23 was to include a pedestal. Well in speaking with them they told me that two pedestals were delivered on 6/7 when the dryer was delivered. My wife signed a number of papers and one of the papers said that they were delivering two. My wife said they only delivered one. They riped us off by sneaking this in and are not willing to give us a second pedestal.
My wife currently has cancer and cannot lift more then 10 lbs. Since the pedestal weighs 67 lbs I asked them where did the delivery man put the second one. Since she cannot lift or move it and it would be in the same place. The are unable to provide us this information.
I have already opened a case with the Better Business Bureau and will be pursuing all channels.. They have been completely unhelpful during all of this. I have sat on hold for countless hours and they stress "service on their hold message". Well they do not even know what service is.
