I read your report after searching for the one I filed on Conn's 06/02/06. Did you read your receipt? The receipt clearly states customer declined "EXTENDED WARRANTY" on mine. I was also told I didn't purchase Conn's warranty so they couldn't help me! We purchased a TV that wasn't functioning properly the day we bought it, it was supposed to be brand new and Conn's told us the same thing about their warranty! I wrote the Attorney General, BBB, Rip off Report, my Lawyer and I'm not finished yet. I encourage you to do the same.

Most consumers do not. You will probably need to contact the manufacturer for service or replacement. There should be some information on who to contact in the users manual. There should also be information on what is warrented and for how long. One other thought. Have you cleaned the VCR heads? You should be able to pick up a head cleaning kit at any store that sells blank VCR tapes. I'm not totally sure, but I think most manufactures recommend cleaning the heads after so many hours of use but I am not sure what that number is. It might be worth a shot.
