I was contacted by conn's for my monthly payment for august, which was to be paid by 9/4/07, so i originally agreed to a pay by date of 9/10/07, because i was trying to resolve the issue, because i have very little time working 11 hour days. But once i realized that the date was not good for me, because i wasn't going to be paid until 9/14/07, i called Conn's on 9/8/07 to extend the date to 9/14/07, to prevent an overdraft from my bank. The rep i spoke to on that date said she had indeed extended the date for withdrawl to 9/14/07, and asked me was there anything else she could do for me before the call ended, and i said no that was fine. But on 9/10/07, the payment still hit my account, which caused me an overdraft fee which i paid to my bank. When i first contacted them on 9/11/07, after discovering what had happened, i called them. I asked why had this occurred when the rep i had spoken to assured me the date had changed, the rep informed me that they could not make that change, and that the first rep tried to explain this to me and i had hung up in her face, and she attempted to call me back to explain this.

I then asked the rep why would i hang up on her before resolving an issue that i had contacted them to resolve. And i said it doesn't take 30 min for you to say no it can't be done. I told her if i had been told that in the beginning, i would not have had a problem, but i was lied to. The rep then informed me that there was nothing that they were going to do about it because she knew that rep and she would not lie. I asked for a manager (who i believe was the same rep disguising her voice)who said they were not going to do anything abou it. So i told them that i would make my next payment minus the overdraft fee i had to pay to my bank. When it was time for the next payment i decided to call them and speak with someone else to try and resolve the issue. I spoke to another rep who said the same thing, i then asked to speak to his manager, who was Ms. Rablis. I explained the situation to her, and she admitted to the rep making the mistake, and said the rep tried to call me 2 times to correct the mistake she had made, but could not reach me, which was another lie. But she then told me they were still not going to due anthing about a mistake she admitted to her rep making. I then said you know your rep made the mistake and you still won't be accountable for your mistake. She then said how many times do i have to say we're not going to do anthing about it, "i feel like i'am repeating myself" is what she said. This after close to 2 years of a consistent payment history with them, and never any problems with me about my payments of close to, or over a $1000.00 dollars!

conn's is a place better stayed away from. Bought an inexpensive guitar for my wife to try. Her guitar teacher went to tune it and the neck seperated from the body. They hadn't used enough glue. My "bad" for buying an inexpensive guitar. conn's had me make three trips to the store to get a full refund. THREE other relatives have had bad experiences with them in the last 2 months. Totally incompetant. I've used them twice in twenty years and both times have been the same. I don't know what it is about that place but I'd stayed out of there.
