May 28th, Conn's Inc. is being sued by the Attorney General of Texas for failing to honor product warranties, misleading customers and MANY other violations under the DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT, after more then TWO THOUSAND complaints. Read about it on the AG's website. It goes on and on. It's ABOUT TIME. What a bunch of scumbags.

Ok... so they finally came out and fixed the refrigerator. What a nightmare this whole thing was. After he fixed the refrigerator he told me they would send me a survey. Imagine what that survey will show. The service technician came out and looked at the refrigerator and had to put some sort of sealant in a tube on the gap between the doors. The initial guy that came out said they would have to call Fridgedair to find out what was wrong and then wait on parts. I can't believe I had to wait that long for some sealant that I could have probably bought at Walmart. The mess he left was aweful too. I had to go back with a paper towel and clean up where the sealant was just slopped on. At least it is working now, but if I knew that I would have to take off work and spend hours and days waiting for someone to come out and do the job he did, I would never have gotten the extended warranty for sure. The sales guy made this seem like it was something I definetly needed, but trust me. Don't do it.

I stated in my last update that I would call Conn's if they did not call me by 12:00, but I got busy at work and was unable to. So as of 11:30 on the 19th. I have not recieved a phone call to inform me of what Fridgedaire said, if parts were ordered, if I will receive a replacement or if anyone will ever fix my new refrigerator anytime in the near future., maybe I will hear something today. ha.

Well I actually got someone to come out to look the refrigerator on Sat. and he did show up during the 2 hour window time frame, but did not have the parts or even know what was wrong with the rifrigerator for sure. He stated that he would need to call Fridgedair to find out if the unit needed to be replaced or what was actually wrong with it and then he would give me a call Monday (today) and let me know where we go from there. It is 9:40 a.m. Monday and I have not received a phone call yet. I will wait until after noon and if they haven't called me yet I will call them.
