Sears couldn't fix the TV you bought from CONNS?

Conns has had to sub out some of their repair work because they don't pay enough to attract top flight technicians. It is extremely sad to see that even their subs can't stem the "bleeding" that will eventually cause their service department to close down altogether, although they wil continue to sell "service contracts". Anyone who buys a "service contract" from this point forward is an absolute idiot. Consumer Reports several years ago stated that if you want to purchase a service contract on something, you are better off to purchase a "second something" and keep it until the original fails. Look at the money you spend on a contract that is not honored or serviced. It makes more sense to purchase 2 than to wait for Conns to fix it! In the "too long" I was employed by this company I did learn one thing that may help you. And that is, if your product has not been repaired, especially after 4 months, you get better results by going to the service center in person and take the unit with you. Make sure you leave the broken merchandise there and offer to call your local "Eyewitness Wants To Know" station so that everyone will know your story. I expect that repairs will happen a lot faster after that. Do that or return the unit to the store where you purchased it and make sure you speak to the few customers that are in the store and let them know what kind of "service" they can expect. Good Luck.
