Charles, my sales representative was perfectly polite and in fact very helpful on the front end. So the part of the process where they dont have your money yet is in perfect order. From the moment I signed the contract it was nothing but problems and ZERO communication from anyone. After giving me a 3 hour window for delivery, the driver called to say he was 30 minutes away. An hour and a half later (an hour outside of that window) he showed up with 1/3 of the items I ordered and had already paid for. No phone call, no notice, no communication. A friend was there to receive those items who called me to inform me. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, someone at the store finally picked up my call (this was at 4pm btw) and stated that "the warehouse does this all the time, we are sick of it and will make sure you have the rest of your order today. I then got a call from the warehouse around 5pm stating my delivery time was between 6 and 9pm. I cancelled a business dinner to ensure that I was home and in the time I was waiting, gave my old mattress and boxspring away to some college kids that were moving into my complex. At 8:58 when I had gotten no phone calls or communication from ANYONE, I once again called into Conns myself. After several phone calls of back and forth, I was told the driver tried to call me but got voicemail.... conveniently he did not bother to leave a voice mail or even call the store to inform them that he had missed me. He simply drove back to the warehouse.

Again I was told by both my sales rep as well as the store manager Al, that this happens all the time as they blamed it entirely on the warehouse and delivery drivers. Being more than reluctant to fully execute this contract with a company that screws up not 1 but 2 deliveries and doesnt even pick up the phone to talk to me, I told Al that I would like to cancel the order. He informed me that he could cancel the pieces I did not receive, but that there was a zero return policy on all furniture. I have now filed a complaint with Conns Corp customer service and am awaiting a resolution. If anyone else if having similar issues, I have also spoken with an attorney already and suggest you do the same. In Texas you do have a 3 day right of rescission to back out of your contract and much longer than that if they have not fulfilled their obligations. After the hours that I have spent trying to talk to someone who even cared enough to listen to my situation, I am fearful that this may be the final resolution, but we shall see.
