Conseco Finance dishonest, rude, childish, gives information to family members, harrassers Madison Tennessee
In 2000 I took over payments on a mobile home. I payed $1000 down and signed papers on a loan. I was told they would send statements so I could make my payments. I never received one. So i called the dealership where i went thru to get this home. Apparently Conseco Finance had been sending statements to the old address of the people who owned the home before me. My address was given to them and a quick collect payment was made. I thought everything was fine. Boy was I wrong.
I kept getting statements with large late fees etc. I also got threatening phone calls stating the sheriffs dept will be out to evict me the next day. (Doesn't work that way)
I was eventually taken to court for the remaining balance of $13000. Arrangements were made so i could keep the home. Payments were being sent on time.
Then out of the blue a man named Lee called stating I was three months behind and had always been behind. Too make a long story short--he called me at work constantly. He gave out all my loan information to my mother, called my office yelling at me and when I hung up on him he called back and hung up on Sarah my secretary.
In one year I have had 4 diferent loan officers, my personal info given out to my mom, a $13000 balance that is now $28000, two loan officer that don't communicate, the home repossed voluntarily, and a home that is still sitting at the mobile home park where I'm told they are going to rent it out.
I would not recommend that anyone finance thru Conseco--cause I wouldn't even finance a doghouse thru them.
