Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In Aug. of 2001 we bought our mobile home from ROBERT WALKER of ADVANTAGE HOMES in CLEBURNE TEXAS. He is (WAS) a representative of CONSECE FINANCE aka GREEN TREE SERVICING LLC.

ROBERT WALKER of ADVANTAGE HOMES in CLEBURNE TEXAS then contacted the person we were buying property from for our new home and THREATENED HIM not to sell property to us. The gentleman knew ROBERT WALKER of ADVANTAGE HOMES in CLEBURNE, TEXAS and his reputation and decided to back down on the deal.

Seven months after the sale CONSECO FINANCE aka GREEN TREE SERVICING called us and wanted to know how much downpayment we had given for our trailer. The difference in what we actually paid down & what was on paper was $1600.00. They told us that we didn't actually qualify for the loan on our trailer but that there was nothing we could do about ROBERT WALKER supplying them with fraudulent information (we were & are currently in the middle of a LAWSUIT including ROBERT WALKER).

We have since learned that the only time we could have gotten out of this deal was if we made a complaint during THE FIRST YEAR.

After the phone call about the down payment, we started to get calls from CONSECO aka GREEN TREE SERVICING LLC, demanding our payments be made on time which was impossible because by Dec 15, 2001, we were getting eviction notices for the property we had ended up buying from JOSEPH MC CONLEY aka METRO LAND & INVESTMENTS LC, an associate of ROBERT WALKERS of ADVANTAGE HOMES in CLEBURNE, TEXAS.

Apparently the land did not belong to that person. We were paying a lawyer $500.00 a month for a lawsuit against ALL OF THEM. We explained this to conseco and of course they did not care because they were going bankrupt.

The messages left on my answering machine were demanding. One man called me a liar, stupid, & b***h. At that point I really didn't care, knowing what kind of business people they all were.

Because of ROBERT WALKER OF ADVANTAGE HOMES, CONSECO FINANCING aka GREEN TREE SERVICING, JOSEPH MC CONLEY of METRO LAND & INVESTMENTS LC, we watched our home being pulled out from under us with all our belongings 3 weeks ago on Nov. 14, 2003.

The icing on the cake??? We recieved a letter today CONFIRMING OUR VERBAL AUTHORIZATION on Nov. 29 to take $660.68 from our bank account.

WHO? would authorize a payment for a home that has not only been taken 70 miles away to trailer storage 3 weeks ago, but was also DESTROYED during the move? This is INSANE! Not only did they stand by and let their reps steal our lives... they try to steal from us one more time.

My son will never go back to school in his home town, we have lost over $27,000.00, we have lost our home, we have been forced to buy in an area where we would never have lived and I'm sure that I can hear our credit flushing down the sewer for several years.

No, it isn't funny but we still have each other and another new home. Because of the well know reputations of CONSECO FINANCE akaGREEN TREE SERVICING, ROBERT WALKER of ADVANTAGE HOME in CLEBURNE, TEXAS, and JOSEPH MC CONLEY aka METRO LAND & INVESTMANTS LC, financing for another new home & we'll go on with the legal aspect of this story until we see all of the above fall.

Awww, Robert makes me laught. I was not a collector for a local rental car company, but the TOP collector at Conseco making 6 figures my dear. Its sad to see someone defend a corrupt agency, maybe you are feeling a little guilty Robert or maybe not a good collector? I feel sorry for people who bought into the Mobile Home Dealers from Conseco, I really do, and I appologize of I in any way hurt anyone by working for the MH department.

Being "top-collector" @ your local Rent-A-Center assures me that a deep understanding of the mortgage industry is well above your paygrade. I'm also quite convinced that a person of your stature would easily recognize "scum" when they see it. after all. birds of a feather? and good luck w/that 480 FICO. R. Walker

Michelle, I see you didn't have the courage to post your last name and you also signed this letter ""Gloria" from "Alvarado.." which in reality was your salesperson...Interesting seeing how I gradutaed with your husband. As you know, I have never condoned cutomers to come into our place of business under the influence of drug and or alcohol and speak to my salespeople in a manner that is far less than appropriate. I understand this may not be the way to start a business relationship. Also, potential homeowners who have failed to pay thier bills thus reflecting low credit scores often are left to purchasing a "repo" when they cannot qualify for a new home. When someone has child support garnishments and past mobile home repos on thier credit report, sometimes Conseco was willing to give those folks another chance even when other lenders would not touch them with a 10 foot pole. It just saddens me to see customes attack a finance company in an open forum who's only fault was extending credit to a couple that-even to the "subbest" of sub-prime underwriting guidelines, should have been told "NO." As for me, I've read bible.. and I have a working knowledge of the scripture: Matt 7:6 " Cast not your pearls before the swine, lest they be trampled under foot." God Bless & Congratulations on your new home. R Walker
