Ok, well, here's the story:

I was at work one day when my cellphone rings. This woman on the line says she's with "Visa" and that I've been entered in this $1,000,000 sweepstakes. Well, I know it's a telemarketing scheme so I try to play along and be nice about it. The next thing I know she is reading MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER and I haven't even given it to her yet, WTF? So I'm starting to suspect things. She says this is only a "trial" subscription and I can cancel at anytime so I give her the benefit of the doubt and sign on. So after the sales pitch and everything is over, she says she is going to transfer me over to her supervisor to rate her job quality. Well, 30 minutes has passed and I'm starting to get tired of talking to these people. I finally get everything finished and hang up.

Now, one day goes by and I get ANOTHER call from these people to verify my order for the THIRD time. They now try to enroll me in some "Smart Perks" program, which I decline. I look at my credit card statement in a week or so and guess what, SMART PERKS IS TRYING TO CHARGE MY CARD!!!! So now I'm getting VERY agitated with these people. I call in and tell them I would like to cancel my subscription and they say that it can be cancelled as they have "Prepaid" the subscription for me (Which is obviously complete BS).

It has been 2 months and I'm just now receiving their "Welcoming Packet". So I read it and it says you have 3 DAYS to cancel from receipt of the packet. I call in to cancel and STEPHEN SCOTT threatens me that he is going to report me to a collections agency and such. I ask him to play the conversation where I agreed to all of this and he could not produce such conversation.

I'm to the point now where I had to cancel the card the original order was on and ready to file a lawsuit against this company. If anyone else is interested, please reply in the rebuttal section.

This is exactly what happened to me. They called, saying they were from VISA! I thought, since they were from Visa, it would be reputable right? Well, it took me $60 to figure it out. I called my bank and reported by credit card stolen the day after. Let's just hope this is done and over with.
