Consolidated Media Services ripoff deceptive company Atlanta Georgia
I received a call from these people about a week ago and didn't know what I was doing at the time. Long weekend I guess. For some reason I gave them my credit card number. Very stupid. I've never done it before, but sometimes you just forget. Anyway, today I get a confirmation call while I'm at work asking if I understand everything and blah blah. I say "sure" and hang up because I'm really busy.
Shortly after, when things died done at work, I just realized what I had done and I wanted to make sure that this company was legit. So I do a search for Consolidated Media Services and this site comes up with tons of complaints.
I then call my credit card company and ask them to cancel my card, just in case. i don't want to take any chances. They say no problem and will monitor the account to see if anyone tries to put any charges on it. I then call the Consolidated Media Services to cancel my account because I have a "financial problem and will not be able to afford there services." They say no problem and told me that my card has not been charged and that if it is, to just call and they will refund my account. That was just a few minutes ago.
I don't know if they will do what they said, but they were very understanding and helpful. We'll see what happens. I will post again if I get cheated. I hope I caught the situation in time, but I'm not too sure.
