Today I received the same letter many others have, and card as anothers have reported on your site. These exact people were brought to court by the FTC in 1997 for scamming people with "credit cards". The head of this Rip Off scam is Eric A. Petersen. I plan on reporting it to the FTC, and the Nevada Attorney General.

It seems that the scam now involves their $200 membership fee which they say they'll offset by giving you a $200 credit on your first purchase of over $300. They don't let you know what products are available for sale in the first place. Just that this line of credit is for the "CCS shopping network" (which by the way they try to make sound like QVC etc. if you ask me). So in the end---you'd be out $200, because I'm sure there is nothing in the catalog worth a crap.

They also use the ploy of "cash-on-demand"...a phrase they use ALOT in their letter. Sounds alot like "cash advance" like you'd have on your credit card dosen't it? If you read the teeny tiny fine print---"cash-on-demand" is a check cashing service they offer!!

Did I mention there is also a $99 annual fee?!

I wonder if any poor soul actually didn't sue after 30 days!!
